Effective against
- 1. Dermatophytosis caused by dermatophytes, yeast molds, and other fungi
- 2. Skin disease superinfected with the above fungi
How to store
- Store in an airtight container at 15° to 25°.
Dosage
- Apply thinly to the affected area 1-2 times a day.Use regularly for a sufficient period of time to achieve the full therapeutic effects.
Precautions for Use
- 1. This drug must not be used by the following patients.
- 1) Patients with hypersensitivity to or a history of hypersensitivity to this drug, imidazole derivatives, or the ingredients of this drug
- 2) Patients with hypersensitivity to or a history of hypersensitivity to cetostearyl alcohol
- 2. Side Effects
- The side effects reported for this drug in clinical trials and post-marketing studies are as follows.Immune system disorders: allergic reactions such as hivesSkin and subcutaneous (subcutaneous) tissue: Blistering, discomfort or pain, swelling, erythema (red spots), irritation, peeling/flaking, itching, rash, tingling or burning (hotness), puncture wounds, dry skin, redness, dermatitis, erosion, papules.
- 3. General Precautions
- 1) If irritation or sensitivity occurs due to the use of this drug, or if symptoms worsen, discontinue use and take appropriate measures. If side effects not mentioned in the instructions for use occur, notify your doctor or pharmacist.
- 2) In order to obtain the full therapeutic effects, do not stop treatment midway, but stop after consulting a doctor. If treatment is stopped midway, the fungal infection is not completely cured, so it is likely to recur. If the symptoms do not disappear, treatment should not be stopped, and treatment should be continued according to the prescribed dosage and method of administration.
- 3) Even if you have used a small amount or forgot to apply the drug, do not apply an excessive amount when next using, and apply only the prescribed dose.
- 4) Towels, clothes, socks, etc. that come into contact with the affected area should be changed daily. Before using this drug, wash the affected area to remove skin flakes and make sure that no moisture remains. In particular, dry thoroughly between the toes if you have athlete's foot.
- 5) Do not use the occlusive dressing technique or packing technique nless directed by a doctor.
- 4. Application to pregnant and lactating women
- 1) Although clinical trials for human application have not been conducted, the results of animal studies did not show any abnormalities in fertility related to this drug.
- 2) No teratogenic effects associated with this drug have been reported in animal studies; however, as a result of oral administration of this drug at high doses (50-200 mg/kg) to rats and mice, embryotoxicity, fetal toxicity, and decreased survival rate of pups to the weaning period were observed.
- 3) Although there have been no reports of studies of topical application of this drug to pregnant women, epidemiological studies showed that there was no effect on the mother or fetus (or infant) when this drug was administered during pregnancy. However, since the safety of administration during pregnancy has not been established, it should be administered to pregnant women or women who may be pregnant only when it is judged that the therapeutic benefit outweighs the risk.
- 5. Instructions for use in children
- Do not use on infants under 2 years of age unless directed and supervised by a doctor.
- 6. Precautions for Application
- 1) This drug is for external use only.
- 2) This drug is for ophthalmic use and should not be used on the cornea or conjunctiva.
- 3) Do not apply to areas with severe inflammation (erosion).
- 4) Do not swallow this drug.
